GET SINGING- activity #3
listening to the to the soundtrack was a lot of fun. I could completely picture the whole play in my head! I think that out of all of the songs my favourite is the finale. Its sung by everyone at the end of the play. Its the classic Happy Days theme. The song is upbeat and gets everybody pumped up about the musical. I think my least favourite song is the "What I Dreamed Last Night". Its sung by Marion and Joanie Cunningham mid way through the first half of the play. It seems a little bit slow and boring. I think if there is good choreography the audience would still be involved and engaged. I enjoyed the sound track very much and I'm really excited for the play!

I had a lot of fun listening to the Happy days soundtrack too! I also agree with you that the finale song is the most fun! Even now i can picture the whole cast up on stage and the energy that we will bring to that song!
ReplyDeleteI am very excited to get the whole cast together and sing the finale! It is usually the best part of the musical because the most people are involved and its usually a happy upbeat song. The awesome part of having happy days as the finale song is lots of the audience will know it and enjoy singing along! Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteMost of the soundtrack is perfect, so I definitely had fun listening to it like you did. The finale will be one of the best songs to dance and sing to, and it will also be the last time the audience gets to see me, the wonderful Jumpy Malachi. You can "Count" on us Malachis to make it a fun time. Though I disagree with you on the least favorite song, I thought it was sweet and emotional, which could surprise you, but us Malachis have hearts and dreams too... aah how I yearn for the theater. Anyway I like your opinions on the soundtrack.

I'd say that i have to disagree with the fonz on this one (sorry bud) i think the song what i dreamed last night is a very inspirational son and i think that the play has alot of upbeat fast songs and it doesnt hurt to have a slow song once in a while :) but you're thoughts on the choreo are great!!
