GET HAPPY-activity #1

I watched an episode of Happy Days called "Fonzie Drops In". In this episode the Cunninghams have to rent out the room above their garage because business is slow, Fonzie just happens to be looking for a new place to live and Richie suggest that Fonzie moves into the room above the garage. The whole episode is a lot of fun. The first thing I learned is that everybody is friends, they always hang out at Arnold's and dance and just have fun. The next thing I noticed is its funny, lots of jokes and laughs but they don't distract from the story. Lastly there is that specific look, especially for the Fonze, the hair, the jacket, the combs and the girls. Its a very "cool" look that is a big part of Fonzie's identity. After watching Happy Days it will be easier to get into character and picture myself right there with the whole happy Days gang!

GET SINGING- activity #3

listening to the to the soundtrack was a lot of fun. I could completely picture the whole play in my head! I think that out of all of the songs my favourite is the finale. Its sung by everyone at the end of the play. Its the classic Happy Days theme. The song is upbeat and gets everybody pumped up about the musical. I think my least favourite song is the "What I Dreamed Last Night". Its sung by Marion and Joanie Cunningham mid way through the first half of the play. It seems a little bit slow and boring. I think if there is good choreography the audience would still be involved and engaged. I enjoyed the sound track very much and I'm really excited for the play!
